Frequently Asked Questions and Enquiries
My lipstick looks like it is sweating when it is hot. Why is this?
Lipstick has to be hard enough not to break or change shape, yet soft enough to spread smoothly onto your lips. To achieve this, lipstick is formulated with a variety of different ingredients including oil and wax. As these must be compounded in an extremely delicate ratio, sometimes the oil will seep out to the surface, for example in hot or humid summers, which causes water droplets to form. This phenomenon is called sweating. It does not affect product quality, and you can still use your lipstick.
